આજે એક જૂની રચના – કર્ણિક ભાઇ શાહના મધુર અવાજમાં. આનું રેકૉર્ડીંગ એક બેઠ્કમાં થયેલું છે, તેથી વાથ્યોની કમીછે. તો પણ આશા છે કે તમે ગઝલની મજા માણી શકશો … ગઝલ સાંભળવા માટે ટહુકો પર જાવ.
જીવનનો સાર એક બે ઘટનાની વાત છે
મંઝિલની વાત છે કદી રસ્તાની વાત છે
સામે હતી ખુશી ને તમે શોધતા રહ્યા
આંખો કરી છે બંધ કાં પરદાની વાત છે
રજનીની બીજી કોઇ નિશાની નહીં મળે
ઝાકળની વાત છે એ શમણાંની વાત છે
ઓળખ તો માનવીની અહિં કોઇ પણ નથી
આંખોમા જે સજાવ્યા છે સપનાની વાત છે
મૃત્યુના રૂપમાં, તને મળશે નવું જીવન
કુંપળ ની વાત માં, કદી ખરવાની વાત છે
આંખોથી શોધશે, તો એ મળશે નહીં તને,
ઈશ્વર, ધરમ, ને પ્રેમ્, એ શ્રધ્ધાની વાત છે
I recently came back from an overseas tour. Visiting some of the historic places made me think about all the different perspectives that people and populations may have on some of the same historic events. સત્યના બે પ્રકારો હોય શકે ખરા? ત્યાં કવિએ પ્રશ્નાર્થ મુકી દીધો છે.ને વાંચકો પર છોડી દીધું છે. પણ ઈતિહાસ, ભુતકાળમાં નજર નાંખો..તો જે હિટલરને જગતના ઘણાં વ્યક્તિ નફરતથી જુએ! પણ બીજા દ્ર્ષ્ટિઅકોણથી જુઓ તો જર્મન દેશમાં એમને પ્રત્યે કુણી લાગણી જોવા મળે! એજ રીતે આપણાં પુરાણ પુસ્તક”રામાયણ”માં રાવણનું પાત્ર ને દરેક વ્યક્તિ જુદી, જુદી દ્રષ્ટિથી જુએ છે..પણ સત્યને કઈ નજરથી નિહાળો એની પર આધાર છે..સત્યતો સત્ય છે..પણ એને સમજવું, જાણવું લોખંડના ચણા ચાવવા સમાન છે..

We hardly get a chance to pause and really get to know our surroundings, really meet and get to know the people around us. Sometimes, our lives seem to go from one day to another, from one event to another. Is it possible that we ignore to live fully in trying to keep pace with environment around us (that we have created)?
One of my favorite thinkers – Henry David Thorough once said, “How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live”. Oh, well!
